No. 07-8503.United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit.
Filed On: June 5, 2007.
BEFORE: Ginsburg, Chief Judge, and Randolph and Griffith, Circuit Judges.
ORDER OF DISBARMENT
Per Curiam
Upon consideration of the court’s order (filed January 25, 2007 and again on March 26, 2007) directing respondent to show cause why he should not be disbarred from the Bar of this court based on his disbarment by the Supreme Court of New Hampshire on February 27, 2004, which was sent to three different addresses by certified and first class mail, with all but one first class mailing returned to the court, it is
ORDERED that the order to show cause be discharged. It is
FURTHER ORDERED that George E. Kersey be disbarred and, accordingly, be prohibited from further practice of law at the Bar of this court. Respondent has not responded to the order to show cause and therefore has not demonstrated any lack of notice or infirmity of proof in the underlying Supreme Court of New Hampshire proceeding, nor that disbarment is gravely unjust, or that his misconduct warrants substantially different discipline. See D.C. Cir. Rules, App. II, Rule IV(c). It is
FURTHER ORDERED that George E. Kersey be prohibited from holding himself out to be an attorney at law licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
